Caring for Life, Protecting the Golden Years | Honest Chunyi Charity Foundation’s Emergency Health Education Event

On June 14, 2024, an emergency health education event was organized in response to feedback from students of the Zhuhai Senior University Art and Culture Fellowship. The Honest Chunyi Charity Foundation, in collaboration with the Zhuhai Emergency Volunteer Association, conducted an emergency health science lecture themed “Caring for Life, Protecting the Golden Years.”

The event aimed to enhance safety awareness among older adults, promote scientifically informed health practices, and provide essential emergency first aid training, thereby contributing to a safer and more supportive community environment.

The lecture was delivered by Ms. Zhan Yanfang, a senior first aid instructor certified by the Red Cross Society of China and the American Heart Association, with extensive experience in managing chronic disease among older adults. Leveraging her professional expertise, Ms. Zhan provided a comprehensive explanation to 30 senior university students on preventive measures and first aid responses for common medical emergencies, including stroke, airway obstruction, burns, and falls.
