Enhancing Hengqin-Macao Medical Services: Construction of Honest Hospital Officially Commences
On April 30, 2024, construction officially began on Honest Hospital, a key Macao-funded project within the Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industrial Park of Co-operation between Guangdong and Macao (“GMTCM Park”), officially commenced.
Honest Hospital is located in buildings 4 and 5 of the North Zone of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)-themed Cultural Street, covering a total built-up area of 2,783.96 square meters. Operated under Honest Medical Group, this Grade-A general hospital is being developed in compliance with high medical standards and regulatory requirements. The facility will feature essential medical departments, including preventive healthcare, dermatology, gynecology, TCM, surgery, internal medicine, and emergency services. Designed as a “specialty-focused, comprehensive-supported” institution, the hospital will prioritize gynecology and specialized treatments for premature ovarian failure and menopausal syndrome. By integrating the Group’s professional third-party medical laboratory, academician teams, and international medical experts along with access to advanced pharmaceuticals from Hong Kong and Macao, Honest Hospital aims to deliver high-quality, full-cycle medical services. These services will encompass “Testing – Prevention – Diagnosis – Treatment – Care,” catering to patients from Hong Kong, Macao, and beyond while establishing a high-end international medical service platform.
Honest Medical Group is one of the pioneering enterprises that introduced minimally invasive interventional diagnostic and therapeutic technologies from Europe and the United States to China.
